There will be lots of Sydney boys and girls with smiles on their faces tonight.
BTW the apparent air temp at midday on the water was 1.6° - The 6am morning crew at Sandringham had it at -0.3°.
We were all a funny purpley colour on the exposed bits of skin.

Nearly managedmy first waterstart and gybe and in the process of trying i gave much entertainment for those who were watching.
Has anyone ever sailed RoseBay??
Dan berry - thats great news for the westerly sailing @ rose bay. i was thinking I would have to go over the easatern side of the new terminal when its done and carry my gear a ways to the water.
Did you notice the forecast drop since you brought it up?
Now you've got me talking about it. Might as well sleep in for sure now.

I might go to narrebeen tomorrow is guessing that the south side car park would be best open for suggestions
HI Max,
The lake always gets a bit gusty in the southerlies so if you get the time head over to Kyeemagh for some choppy blasting or head up closer to St George sailing club to ease the chop back a bit.
A few guys will be there from pretty early on tomorrow but your best bet looks like maybe 10-11 onwards for the wind.
Good luck and hopefully I'll see you down there.
Sam.
thanks Sam were do you launch down there i just looked it up on the map plus would like to find out as i will be working at the airport Tuesday for a short day we can only hope the wind holds up
