Going to stay near lake Macquarie for a few days next week, looks like there might be some SE east wind. Any sailing to be had there? can anyone reccomend any spots to launch?? Hazards etc

Thanks

Depends which end of the lake you are on Corkers

Southern end - Sunshine Pt on the Morisset Peninsula is good - usually Nick and Byron are there

Northern end - Valentine or Belmont slips - a few guys out and plenty of rigging space
enjoy
