I'm down at birriban reserve. There appears to be a bit of breeze so I'm rigging my 12 for the first time. It looks like a nice day today..

You must be from down south, it was too cold for us locals

How was it?

When you have conditions like that most days I can see you taking it for granted...

The sailing was good. The wind was SW early on and got stronger as it swung around to SE. It seems like there's a nice grassy area for rigging dotted every 5km around the lake!

We are spoilt at Lake Macquarie, there is a good spot to rig/sail in any wind direction. Coal point is the best location on Lake Mac. during a NE'er.
I'm one of the few that likes it during a southerly or SE'er. It is a great bump and jump spot.
Everyone else seems to head to Budgewoi chasing flat water in the southerly winds.

Join us again in summer and you will gave plenty of your brothers to play with when you head out
