yep i at canton now. were is every1 only me & 1 other guy here. just waiting for it to swing to the south, still wnw here now. be good to use the 4m.
Was great to sail at the water resuce other side of canton. Then we moved to cantong after the wind direction changed. There were around 12 people out it was good to see. some nice speeds as well.
It was great at La Perouse. Wind was on the light side from 2 to 3, but then kicked in hard. For about a hour the wind was close to the water and steady, probably averaging nearly 40 knots. I was massively overpowered on my smallest sail, which is easy to sail at 35 knots. Towards 5 the wind backed right off. No one else on the water...
great day at canton, sailed for 5 hours. had 4.7 on for most of the time then it dropped a bit put a 5.7 on & it kicked in again & yes it was shorly 35kt 40 in gusts. thats the fastest i ever sailed, got some video of the guys there just carnt post it any ware. will be heading down there to sail in NE wind at the other spots the locals mentioned. what a great spot.
Yep. This is bill. i got there at 3.30pm. it had just swung from N/W TO S/W S. Awsome 4.5 sale for a good solid 2 hours. The whole weeks worth of **** at work dissappeared in 2 hours.
