Rescueing IOM's

So, who were the pair of prominent members of the NSW Formula racing scene who, instead of being out training today, were playing around with International One Meter yachts down Bayview way. One of the said pair managed to get his boat with a nice little half hitch around the keel while rounding a mark and it was only a passing stranger () that managed to free it, saving said member from a long swim or paddle.

Lucky they weren't model aircraft, a tangle like that would have made quite the fireball.

Ummm...my boat made a clean rounding....and let it be known that once the light NE came in, I got a couple of hours training in at Ramsgate.

I'd say Rick owes you a beer though

Yep, if I sail as an Italian then I'm allowed to eat pizza and drink red without getting in trouble with the wife.

Wishing a great season for everyone, looks like it'll be a corker.
