Seabreeze is great so is windy , willy weather and the good old BOM. However nothing beets an experienced sailer being on the ground at your local fav spot on the day. So I was thinking would people be interested a WhatsApp group (or some other newfangled App) so whomever gets to "THE" spot first could ping the rest of us and say yep its on or naaa its crap, or you can put out a shout and see who is up for a sail.
Myself Im pretty time poor so need to maximise my reward for my leave passes a few hours wasted driving across the city is a pisser when you get there and its crap. I know some people have mates they hook up already with but some Nigel no friends need rent a mates, no seriously I thought it would be good for the sport and a way for newbys to get involved.
I was thinking in say Sydney a Palmbeach/Pittwater one , a narrabeen one, a longey one, one for clontarf/balmoral, one for The Airport/Dawes Pt one for St George Club one for Kernel,l one for Wanda. Subscribe to which ever ones you might like to sail at or all of them. Any takers? It would only really work with numbers involved I guess.

We have a Northern Beaches wavesailing WhatsApp group with 18 members who share "real time" weather reports. Helps to know which beach to go to! Being Northern Beaches, most of the messages are "should have gone to Wanda" but it's good to share the pain, until we get an awesome WSW or Southerly.
So, yes it's a great idea.
