Looks like its gonna be bloody cold down at woolongong this weekend!
fprcast for 10-14 degrees!
Bring on the westerlies!
primbee is shallow water so you don't get a full dunking but it's going to be 10 to 17 deg , to be comfortable 3/4 is good or 3/2 with a thermal underneath
Do you need a weedie for Primbee?
A weed fin is mandatory if you want to have a decent sail and preferably a delta fin as the water is quite shallow.

Thanks.
Weird looking things.
How does the sizeing compare to standard slalom fins?
The big question is whether I'll remember how to stand up on the board after so little practice so this year. And what is it again, pull the sail towards the back to go upwind, right..?

Place you feet on the centre line of the board, your back to the wind, one foot on each side of the mast base. Lean forward and take the uphaul rope in one hand. Lean back and pull the sail out of the water. At the same time, hand over hand, move your hands up the uphaul rope. Once you reach the top of the rope and the sail is upright, take one hand off the rope and place it on the boom, with your back to the wind. Place your other hand on the boom, close to the first hand and then move the first further down the boom.
Tilt the sail forward and then you away. Good luck!

Preferably the one closest to the mast - front hand..and you can bend your front arm as needed and work the rear in and out ( reaching or working).
Thanks for the tips, but it all sounds very complicated. I think I'll take the jet ski out instead
Or the kite.

Don't worry about the weed it's not a problem and there's plenty of water at the moment.
Keen to head to Primbee tomorrow, but not sure where to launch from. Can someone please fill me in? Thanks
if your coming from Sydney come into warrawong and its the first turn right over the bridge going south, follow the road and I think it's macky park
Is it anywhere near the Illawarra Yatch Club? Or are you talking the other side of that bay, down and along near Windang? Any Chance you someone could please give me a street name?
...looks like the Wester has just come through at Maroubra.
Think I'll drive down for a recon mission. Still without my wagon (another 2 or 3 weeks till it comes back from the smash repairer) and I've only got a crap old Corolla hire car.
