primbee is shallow water so you don't get a full dunking but it's going to be 10 to 17 deg , to be comfortable 3/4 is good or 3/2 with a thermal underneath

A weed fin is mandatory if you want to have a decent sail and preferably a delta fin as the water is quite shallow.

The big question is whether I'll remember how to stand up on the board after so little practice so this year. And what is it again, pull the sail towards the back to go upwind, right..?

Place you feet on the centre line of the board, your back to the wind, one foot on each side of the mast base. Lean forward and take the uphaul rope in one hand. Lean back and pull the sail out of the water. At the same time, hand over hand, move your hands up the uphaul rope. Once you reach the top of the rope and the sail is upright, take one hand off the rope and place it on the boom, with your back to the wind. Place your other hand on the boom, close to the first hand and then move the first further down the boom.

Tilt the sail forward and then you away. Good luck!

Preferably the one closest to the mast - front hand..and you can bend your front arm as needed and work the rear in and out ( reaching or working).

Thanks for the tips, but it all sounds very complicated. I think I'll take the jet ski out instead

Don't worry about the weed it's not a problem and there's plenty of water at the moment.
