Is Primbee any good in a southerly? Thinking of heading down today.
too late for yesterday, but so you know for next time, yes primbee is a good launch spot in a southerly. It didn't really happen yesterday though, only light breeze, wind was better further north
What about South East? I'm looking for a sail tomorrow somewhere on Lake Illawarra.

yes it can be great in a SE, I think the yacht club is best spot to launch in that direction, great long runs out across lake, haven't tried launching from Primbee in that direction but others do
How about launching from Kanahooka near Dapto? I used to live at Primbee near the soccer field and when it blew from the south I'd drive over to Kanahooka to go windsurfing from there. Launch straight from the shore into deep water with clean wind.
