Hi, I'm staying with friends at Soldiers Pt for a few days. Just wondering if there are any windsurfers out there contemplating a sail in the next day or so....
...also any advice as to where is likely to be good, (waves or flat water) would be appreciated.
I drove past Bagnells and Dutchies today, but alas, - no wind.
(am I on the right track?)
BOND...I may sail Birubi Point tomorrow. I will check in the moring what is happening.
Birubi Point is at Anna Bay. Its the northern most part of Stockton Beach. cross off DTL in W/NW wind that is predicted for tomoz. Should be a small fun wave too.
Peto give me a shout in the morning before you head up and I will shoot down to Birubi and give you a condition report.
Very cloudy/golden up here at the moment.. kind of a cross between thick smoke/fog and very very misty rain ????
Bondalucci, if you are chasing relatively flat water Bagnells will be the go with some fairly long runs to be had across to the other side of the Bay.
As Peto said, Birubi will be the go for cross off down the line waves.
Little pulse of east south east swell might throw up something to play around on ![]()

Cheers guys, will have a look at Bagnells soon. I'm waiting/hoping for the air to clear a bit so I can see where I am going.
Smallest sail I brought with me is a 5.0 so it could be exciting!!![]()
Count me in for Saturday.
I'll see if I can coax Glovey out of his winter hibernation cave as well.
Will be interesting to see what the swell does.
Anyone get amongst it today anywhere in the Newie/Hunter region ?
