No photos from me unfortunately. Left the camera at home.

Yes its a great spot. Much better than the Grand Parade.

It makes going to Kyeemagh much less stressful with less wailing and gnashing of teeth.

New locations is very good.... only negative is the walkways to the water. One is hard on your feet, and both will have you walking up or down wind in a NE which can be difficult to carry a sail, and both are not that wide and exposed to the wind with some sharp starpost/wire fences on either side. Everything else is perfect!!

Spoke to Council on Monday regarding the "public hazard" of posts & how someone could easily slash their sail arm on the metal post if they tripped. [}:)].

Will keep you 'posted' on progress

Excellent...

The wooden boards on the walk way to the beach are horrible when you're carrying your kit.
Wineman could you come up with something creative for those? I'd say either ditch them or double the amount of boards so less awkward gaps.

I have gotten into the habbit of wearing sandles down to the beach and strapping them to the fence when I get down there to go out for my sail, and then they are waiting for me when I return. Not sure why they put the cover on one of the tracks but not the other... it is certainly easier when carrying a sail to use the track that has you walking upwind rather than downwind.

Or sail the southerlies.Like yesterday.
Launch from the southern end of the beach.
No jet ski's,no crowds' plenty of parking.
Bliss.
