Hey crew. Am planning to launch from Peel St on Thursday morning. Will see how far I can get with my 30cm weedie. Might have to stay a bit high up. Anyone else planning to be around, and if so would you have a delta you're willing to sell? (Tuttle box)

There is always heaps go guys sailing if there is wind so you won't be alone. Mick Kay carries and sells Delta fins so if he is there you should be in luck. You won't get too far with a 30 weedie in the flat water so do your best to get a Delta.

Hi Andrew. Try facebook for Mick.

Otherwise, consider sailing Primbee, which is a bit deeper.

Micky goes by mehore....
What size board are you using or what size delta were you thinking?
I think Primbee could be better choice for Thursday,
Plus,,guys named Andrew usually struggle when they try and run with the wild horses......

118L tabou Manta. 22cm or 24cm if I can get away with it. Need to consider depth obviously but can a 22cm allow me to still control a board this size? (with no rounding up wind etc)...?

Got an appointment up the coast tonite hence Budgie will be a more feasible option than Primbee.

Hey man I use my 30cm Carbon delta most of the time due to my large sails and board and I get in the flats just get a bit of scrapeing and can't really turn up the north end.
You'll be right but try to get on to MICKO deltas are the go for Budgy

See how you go with that 20cm I lent you. Might need a 22cm with that size board, but should be okay with a 20cm and your 6m.

Thanks all for helping out. Have learnt about a few different fins now, and have purchased my first delta!
