With risk of sounding needy...
I'm currently over here visiting my sister and taking in the amazing scenery etc. I'm originally from the UK but i've been in the Med doing seasons for various companies for the last 7 years or so, teaching windsurfing. I've got another 3 weeks or so in sydney before heading up to the whitsundays, but before i go it would be rude not to get out on the water. thing is, seasons are notoriously badly paid so simply hiring kit is a bit of a struggle.
So here is my offer, if there are any intermediates out there looking for someone to help them out with their carve gybes, tacking, general blasting, or a group i would be happy to help. Although i would love to charge and make mountains of money to fund my trip, i cant bring (or let) myself to do it, as all i want to do is have a bit of a social and get involved with people having a good time on the water.
if i happen to be able to jump on some kit for a quickie then my time in sydney would be complete!

if anyone is interested, or has any ideas about what i can do with myself (as getting a casual job in sydney for 3 weeks seems neigh on impossible) while i'm in sydney then feel free to post or pm me.

also, if anyone needs a bod to help them out for a few weeks at work then let me know! :) worth a shot!

hope everyone has a good weekend, remember lightwind sailing is THE best way to get good when the forecast is on.

.....
Hi there Peter!

thanks for replying on here, i've had a few people contact me about getting kit etc! which is awesome. might be able to get some demo kit from hot sails maui which would be very much appreciated. i'd love to help you out, i was also thinking botany on sunday, as long as the forecast doesn't keep dropping! though i'd probably still go!

i learnt to carve gybe on a superX 115 in turkey in 2006! i love that board. and the 105 xcite ride.. v good too.
right... well if you have some spare kit then bring it with you on sunday and i'll bring my instructor hat and help as much as i can. we can have a chat about transitions and nailing those waterstarts. if you know any of the other guys i would be happy to help them as well. and if anyone has got a waterproof camera or camcorder then we can do some video coaching. it is the easiest way to see how to improve your sailing.

let me know what you think, give me a brief description of yourself/gear so i can identify you on sunday and we'll go from there!
