Hi all, have just arrived back in Oz, and will stay for 6 weeks. Looking for anyone interested in some formula and or slalom around the Nelson Bay Area.
Also, maybe some info about Marmong would be helpful. Not so far for me to drive with the family right?

Good to see you back Jason. Marmong is about an hour drive from Nelson Bay. For your GPS, the address is George St, Marmong Point.
Mick Saunders sometimes sails formula from Corlette. He is at Marmong most Saturdays so catch up with him then to get the details of where to launch etc.

Thanks guys, has been a couple of years since I was last here. Am here with the wife and two very young kids. So will be limited to locations close to home here in the bay most of the time. Was thinking maybe Marmong, possibly facilities could be family friendly. Will get under the house tomorrow and dig out my old gear. Might need to find fins and a harness. Looking forward to catching up.

I'm based up in the Bay.
Mainly sail in the waves but have an old fat freestyle board that I can dust off that will hold a 6.2 (biggest sail I have) if you want/need to stick to flat water bay sailing.
Did a couple of downwinders from Shoal Bay to Bagnalls Beach and Soldiers Point a couple of seasons back.
Heaps of fun as long as there's a car at the other end !
