Wallaga lake is good in a strong NEer. launch at Beauty Point - drive down through the grass to the north of the boat ramp. (20mins south)
Otherwise Broulee ( about 40mins north from Narooma) is good.

You could try going north 15 mins to lake coila which is a huge closed lake to the north of Tuross Head. I sailed there during the chrissy hols and it was awesome. It is full of lots of little tiny jellyfish which don't seem to sting so as long as u don't mind that...launch from the recreation centre in Tuross - it's good for most wind directions. Enjoy and let us know how u get on and if you find any other good spots - I am down there quite a bit.
