I'm packing the camper trailer, the wife, the boy and some windsurfing gear and heading up to visit my mate in the hunter valley in March. Then planning to spend a few leisurely weeks heading down the coast back home to VIC.

I've spent a fair bit of time in the south around merimbula but would love some local knowledge for everywhere else. My needs are

1. good sailing spots with
2 good camping/caravan parks with
3 good food and cold beer

I'm also trying to rationalise my gear for the trip and really don't know what gear to bring. I've got :

114 Slalom board - 8.3,7.5 & 6.6m
85 Slalom 6.6 & 5.8m
80 Freeride 5.4, 5.0 & 4.5m

What would suit best for that time of year?

Cheers

If you are going to be at the Hunter, the you have to start your odessey at Hawks Nest. Jimmys Beach Caravan Park is 100m from the water.

Do you want flat water or waves? Jimmys beach is a great spot for flat water sailing!
Are you going early march or late march? Late march is when our seabreezes get very un-reliable.

Krusty - Predominately flat water but don't mind grovelling in waves..

Hopefully will be early March
