This weekend (18-19Feb) at Ramsgate Beach, Botany Bay.
After the full on racing at the Ocenic's a couple of weeks ago, it is time to get back to the business on hand i.e. the NSW Formula Series.
With only 2 events left for the season there is no excuse for feeling tired (you will have all winter to recuperate).
New comers are welcome...see you all at the beach for the 11.30 briefing.

Steve from Kitepower contaced me last week. They are also running Kiteboard racing from Ramsgate this weekend. Saturday or Sunday from 2:30 pm depending on the forecast.
There should only be around a dozen racers, and they will park at the most southern part of the car park.
They will be racing from the very next beach south from us.
We will be working together to try an avoid the courses and starts interfering with each other.
I have asked Steve to brief his guys as well, and have them up to speed on right of way rules etc. Some of them are not very experienced with racing, so common sense prevails to avoid collisions etc.
Going forward these guys have an annual license for the area, and we may look to collaborate for future events, so lets all try and make this weekend run as smoothly as possible.
Thanks
Chris
Great day! Wind was fairly consistent and course wasnt too long so that let us get 5 races in by 3:30pm.
Thanks to Jesper and Brett for giving up some racing time to run the starts from the boat.
Cloudless skys, 15knots of SE winds (no weed) and 5 races completed in record time. Definitely goes down as a a good day.
Sunday is looking like 15-20knots of NE winds....we might get 10 races in yet?
Note: Ben Morrell AUS-88 <--knocking on a podium finish.....stay tuned...
Quick up date....4 more races today in ENE 15-17knots...
Sean O'Brien AUS120 killed it, but the return of Sam Parker AUS-3 to the races scene and some serious end of season form of Steve Floyd AUS-222 made sure he didn't get everything his own way....Free Formula had about 6 winners in 9 races, so not sure who is winning that division, but it is close racing.....
thanks the 35+ races that rocked up and thank to the RO's on both days that ensured the max amount of racing....results, report and loads of photos curtesy of Tam Ting will be up asap on www.tour.windsurfingnsw.com
One event left for the 2011-12 season at Huskisson, Jervis Bay in 2 weeks time.
See you all there....
Results are up...Quickest result posting ever!...
Includes overall for the season.....remember you need to attend the last event of the season to qualify for a drop.....Bottom line is don't miss Heat 7 at Huskisson, Jervis Bay 04-05 March.....There will be a dinner on Saturday night at the new and improved "Husky Pub" which everyone is invited to...Move details soon!
