Check out www.tour.windsurfingnsw.com for the reports, photos and results in the next couple of days....
Quick update on Heat 3 of the Formula event.
Swansea (Lake Macquarie) was a test venue for us that delivered with spades.
15-18knot NE winds provided fantastic conditions and racing on Saturday with Sam Parker winning 3 of the 4 races in the open division.
In the "Free Formula" division the racing is proving to be too much fun, with 4 winners in 4 races... Chris Christensen, Roger Lucas, Barry Fawkes and Adam Craven....Official results will be on the web site tomorrow....
PS: power wrist bands are officially rubbish! No need to mention them again.

The wavesailing comp at Gerroa went off!! 3/4 mast high and 25knots+ NE. We had 46 competitors as well as lots of other people sailing outside of the comp zone. At one point there must have been 15 - 20 people on the bombie! There were even six juniors who competed yesterday.
Windsurfn'Snow had some excellent 2012 gear to demo and provided great product for the presso - thanks as always.
They should also do well this week selling replacement masts.....
2 comps down, both 3/4 mast high - what's Wanda going to bring?!
Full report and results will be up shortly.
Thanks to all those who helped out with judging, carrying, cooking etc..
Not only was there 2 very successful and well attended comps going on, there must have been 50-60 people out at Botany on Saturday and from what i understand a pretty healthy turn out at Narrabeen also.
Dare I say the sport is making a rather large comeback?????
Rexy,
Ads and I saw your video on youtube yesterday. Nice vid by the way with a great soundtrack.
I must say that you might even be a little faster with your back foot in the strap. ;)
Cheers
