The 2009-10 season is almost here. Amazing Hawks Nest will host heat 1, 03-04Oct.
Formula Experience + will now have its own division due to the popularity.

Remember to join a club and series in advance to receive a pre-season discount....

All the details are on www.storm-riders.com.au including calendar, membership, locations of the series etc..

Bring on Hawk's Nest!

Looks like I'm going to get up there early for a change. On the Monday or Tuesday before the long weekend with a bit of luck.

Anyone else heading up early to try figure out how the formula kit works again?

Sam.

orrrrrrrrrrrrr you could drive in the opposite direction and do some sphincter clenching speed runs at Sandy Point! Hmmmm....hold onto a 12m sail in 10 knots or hold onto a 5m sail in 30 knots with a grin from ear to ear.....hmmmm what to do what to do....

I hear you Rexy but there are other forces at play here, meaning the Pit will have to wait a few days. Good news for you though as for sure it'll howl down south while I pump my ring off in 8-12 knots.

Did order some new fins for the southern leg of my fortnight of fun. The toy collection is almost complete.

Hey Brett,

Congrats to you and Sean for yesterdays results. Looks like when the conditions got tough the Aussie/Kiwi guys stepped up. Sean's 11th was amazing given the fleet and 25-30 knot winds.

Look forward to Hawk's but does Sean have to be come back that early? I thought we might get a couple of rounds in with him still in Europe.

Sam.

Hey Tim,

Absolutely. If any other Formula Experience guys are looking for a hand just let me know and we can make a good session of it.

Sam.

Brett/Sean/Sam - My apologies but I will not be there until Friday. One of you guys will have to be last until I get there.

And then begins my WONDERFUL WEEK of WATERSPORTS. Dropping my wife at the airport on the Fri morning and heading north. Then I am free to spend as much time on the water as my sunscreen will allow until Sunday the following week.

Not a bad way to begin the season I suppose ;-)

Saturdays Southerly is getting earlier and earlier.

Looks like both days will be great for racing.

Am looking forward to starting a new season on Saturday, hopefully all those pies I ate over winter will pay dividends!

Friday afternoon also looks like it will be great for Formula.
