This Saturday (19NOV) is the new date for the Slalom Event.
The aim is to provide a fun Slalom environment for both recreational and full on racers.
Location is the new North car park at Kyeemagh, turn left before the Cafe car park.
The wind is expected to be 20 NE in the afternoon, so we have pushed registration back to save time sitting around waiting for the wind to build.
Registration will be 11.30-12.00am. You can pre-register on www.tour.windsurfingnsw.com or pay $20 on the day.
www.Windsurfnsnow.com.au can provide some light wind equipment but i suggest calling them in advance to avoid missing out.
We will also have some spare life jackets as they are a NSW requirement.
It was a great event and a good, low stress format. Well done to all involved, and hopefully will get a few more people along to the next event.

I hope Rick works on his starts for the next meet.....just how much of a head start are we meant to give him???
Don't fret James, it was all on the honesty system remember. I won all heats, I promise. Sorry Ricardo, you were last every time, narrowly beaten by Tibor. The DSQ for the giant head start played a part.

I've never raced before but might give it a go this weekend. Could someone please tell me if you need a club membership and sail number to join the race? I'm not expecting to do well so don't mind if I can't be identified.

Remember heat 3 is on this weekend and scheduled for Sunday (pending forecast). Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. You don't need to be a club member or have sail numbers to try it out if its your first time. We do require club membership if you are going to be regularly racing with us though for public liability insurance reasons.
