For WS One Design sailors, here are some dates for a Sydney Metro Traveller Series. Hope you can join in!

Oops!!!
Forgot to say, $5.00 race fee per board at StG Event.
Thanks K, R, J.
If enough boards are there, the StG Race Team will give us our own start. Otherwise we'll start with the foiling Moths. Awesome either way.
Can't wait, will be great fun, and great racing.
WCAA
Hi All, Latest event in the Sydney Traveller Series for Wally boards is a Twilight Race.
![]()
All boards welcome, just not scored in the Wally Traveller Series. Would be scored in the DAC fleet.
Next Wednesday 12 March, at Dobroyd Aquatic Club.
Thanks to the Extraordinarily Special Fleet at DAC, for hosting this.
The race is usually a handicap start. Let's see what we come up with, to not change the famous DAC format. Probably all Wallys at the same start time. That'll give Bob the Chimp some fun working out the Club handicap times later. ![]()
Rig up ready for a briefing around 5.45pm and a start from 6pm onwards.
Register at https://windsurferclassaustralia.tidyclub.com/public/events/506-dobroyd-aquatic-club-traveller-series-sydney-metro-nsw
If you register, it'll help the organisers, thanks! Thanks to those who already have.
Cost: $5.00 pay on the day (already a DAC member? - no cost)

Madam Speaker may I thank the Honourable Forum Member for his well considered question, and I advise carefully and with equal consideration as follows:
I will certainly encourage and support our new President should he wish to advise the wonderful Mr SEABREEZE that the very large majority of our regular fleet participants would love to have that forum re-established. The, dare I say tiny minority, that were not in favour of it, and unrightfully requested its removal, should no longer be able to wield such detrimental influence.
No it appears that person would just prefer me to do that! They love to paint my posts in red - perhaps in anticipation.
However more to the task at hand:
The forecast looks very promising for a moderate to freshish wind strength, and that direction on Narra Lake will test everyone's ability to hook on and off with the rapidity of those special Narra gusts. I challenge any of you to attempt to beat the hardened Narra regulars in their own backyard. That's an apt description - cause if they don't start dredging soon you'll be able to walk across it without getting your shorts wet!

Hi Windsurfers,
Summary of the Traveller Series.
Great work by all the windsurfers who took part, great sailing by all.
Yesterday was a competitive, fun sailing day at Narrabeen Lakes, hosts this time were NL Sailing Club windsurfer fleet.
There was a warm-up race, followed by a long race to complete the series. Dave West was a stand-out for the day, with close competition throughout the 40 minute race by all. Steve Newman was showing great speed too.
We even had a new NLSC member, Thomas from the Czech Republic, who is in the NLSC Saturday morning Learn to Windsurf group, competing in only his third race. Likewise Justin F. They both did well. Big smiles all round.
Wind swung round a bit more easterly before the races. Average wind-speed and maximum varied for each of the four laps. For example 6knot average first lap, maximum 19knot gusts by lap 4. Wind steadied at a stronger level for a while after the race, just so we could say the usual things, like 'if only...'.
Well done to the Winners of the Overall Series.
First - Roger Crawford
Second - Steve Newman
Third - Dave West
Hopefully we'll get all the event results for everyone on here.
Thanks to all the Clubs which hosted the events
St George Sailing Club
Middle Harbour 16' Skiff Club
Dobroyd Aquatic Club
Narrabeen Lakes Sailing Club

What has the racing been like at Dobroyd for the WOD Winter Series?
How's that point score looking?
[Thank you for all those red thumbs. Very negative and rather pointless don't you think?]
Can we have a bit of promotion here for the Dobroyd Winter Series? We won't get many participants if you keep it a secret! And not many of our WOD fleet have signed up to the Windsurfer OneDesign Facebook page; so if you want to get the word out - Seabreeze is currently the best option.
