sorry couldnt resist
I sailed there last Sunday, it wasn't too bad, just some weed and vegetation in the water. But the real fetid smell was in Kyeemagh , I was there the week before, hope I don't get sick.
Turds should be well and truly out to sea by the wk end!![]()
All welcome and encouraged to attend Heat 4 of the Windsurfing NSW Series this Saturday hosted by Stormriders and the Georges River Sailing Club.
Follow the Google map on our web site on how to get there. www.stormriderswindsurfingclub.com/
Great day in the new location 5 races and a new club to race out of.
Love the new club and a hot shower at the end of a day followed by a FREE beer go stormriders.
The first few races run in light , gusty and shifting winds which made it very tactical 8 to 15 knots.
The two races after lunch it really picked up I was fully powered on the 12m but managed some good result. 12 to 18 knots
Very close racing with multiple first place winners.
Great to see Sam Parker and Sean Obrian made for some really good racing.
Sad for Remi who sustained an injury, he had a really good second race with a second place.
Another day with 5 races in excellent conditions. Might be the best season in history (touch wood)... Lesson of the day. The forecast means nothing.
2 more races today in light East winds....result will be up soon...thanks to all the people who helped out all weekend...Great job...Next stop the Oceanic's..9-12jan2014 www.downunderpro.com
Just watched some of the footage at www.windsurfingreligion.com/blog
Love it.
Wish I could have been part of todays racing at my club.
STORMRIDERS sandwiches and beer fantastic!
I had such a great time even if only for one day. Really looking forward to the Nat's. Great organisation well done to all the organizers and competitors.
Who knows (Justin) perhaps with some more training (fitness) and advice two laps is a possibility.
I second Brett, a great heat with some awesome racing across the whole fleet. Oceanics will be the business based at the club!
A very big thanks to Andrew McLachlan & Jeremy Atkinson from GRSC, Nick Nelson for today on the start/finish boat and especially to Dave Howe & Justin lord for giving up their wk end with the results and filming. Looking forward to seeing both you guys back on the water asap.
Thanks also to our committee race crew this wk end. Big cheers Brett Morris, Glen Morrel, Byron Mcllveen & Dave Howe.
Cheers to all the sailors who turned up, especially our travellers.
Oh,….. and thanks finally to Huey for sticking it to Seabreezes' dodgy forecast for the wk end!

Results from Heat #4 are here, sorry for the delay. We saw some very competitive racing this past wk end, especially on day one with the top guys really showing us what Formula course racing is all about. Nice work and congrates Brett Morris(Open) & Chris Christensen(FF)
A big thank you to all those that attended and Justin Lord, Nick Nelson & Dave Howe for helping out on the day.
The new venue of GRSC on Botany Bay really turned it on for us in spite of the forecast. Hope to see more folks down here for the next one & what ever you do, don't miss the Nationals at GRSC in January. www.fw-australia.com/
