Moving to nth NSW

hello I am moving nth near byron and are looking for places to sail I have been sailing mostly in the bay in Melbourne have a Taboo 97 lrt and JP 77ltr sails from 4.5 to 6.5, could some one please tell me what I can expect, like wind direction and stuff cheers. Rico

Where abouts near Byron?

I'm down a few hrs south from there at Coffs (Harbour)
If it's like here, NE dominant seabreezes in summer, Sth busters in winter

My sail range is 4.7 to 6.5 at 70odd kegs with 105L board, but i'm a beginner

Hi Rico, I am a Byron Bay local. When you get here - let me know and I will hook you up with all the info you need. You may be surprised at some of the conditions you get here. Not to bad for a surf town. Cross shore wave-sailing, cross of wave-sailing and some good old onshore bashes.

I normally only read the wave sailing forum - so if you want to ask any more questions put your post there. Perry.

Oh and by the way - with your kit range you will sail a fair bit if you are keen.
