With the racing season starting soon, it's a great time to join a club. Apart from the insurance coverage and sail numbers etc, being part of a club has a great social side to it.
In NSW there are a stack of great WindsurfingNSW affiliated clubs you can join, depending on where you live and what type of sailing you do.
For those in the Hunter/Central Coast/Mid North Coast areas, we'd love to welcome you as a member of Marmong Poing SC.

This year we're pleased to offer 4 membership categories:
Social Non-racing Member - $30/year
- Includes access to club house and hot shower on Saturdays
- Use of club beginner equipment (adults and kid size sails available)
- Discounted beer and soft drinks
- Supports club activities like Weather Station, Webcam, Beginner days etc
- Does not include an AUS sail number or AWA insurance
GPS/Slalom Racing Member - $50/year
- Includes everything above
- Also includes membership of the AWA, which gives insurance and sail number allocation
- Meets requirements for entry into NSW racing series (Formula, GPS, Slalom) + interstate events (Burrum, Green Island etc)
Casual Formula Racing Member - $90/year
- Includes everything above
- Also allows involvement in Marmong racing for an extra $10/week donation when you want to race.
- Perfect for those just starting formula racing, or those who can't make it to the club every week
Full Racing Member - $250/year
- Includes everything listed above
- Allows unlimited racing at the club all year round, across all disciplines

It's long overdue that I join given the amount of time I spend at Marmong. Will sign up after pay day!
For the GPS and slalom sailors $50 is very cheap for any sport to get insurance and join a club.
So come and be a part of a great club with friendly people wether you are into formula, slalom or both all welcome.

And do you guys supply the soap or is it bring your own....on a rope....
I'm assuming its communal.....and we take turns washing each other????
