Hi Guys

I'm new to Sydney, Bondi based and work in Artarmon.

I'm interested in getting into windsurfing in Sydney and would appreciate some advice.

I did windsurf for a few months way back on 1995 in Greece and could deep water start, plane, use the harness, generally go straight but couldn't jibe. I was pretty crap and this took about 3 months to get to this point.

Where would be the best place to learn in Sydney, hire equipment first with the hope that I like it enough to buy the gear.

Thanks a lot

Hi,

your best bet is to contact Wind Surf n Snow in Collaroy. There is a Neil Pryde/JP Australia van travelling round at the moment and perhaps you can find out off them when it will be in Sydney.

Based on what you have said you probably don't need lessons that much, just some gear to get out there.
