I have a 20 something niece who is really keen on learning windsurf. Is there a solution up there In Sydney i could recommend?
A good spot at high tide is on the Pittwater at Dog Park on a high tide. Shallow water around a meter deep covers a sandbar. An easterly wind is onshore. It's very safe and non threatening.

If you can wait until summer proper wind surf n snow (shop guys) run some demo/beginner days, usually at Kyeemagh Botany Bay. Posts are on Seabreeze.
