Looks windy. Looks like a good flat run at the end.It doesn't look that long?

It can get pretty choppy on the way back to the beach, depending on the tide. The run is about 1 km, then you can bear off along the runway. If you go straight from the beach to the end of the runway it's 1 mile.

Its roughly a kilometre out to the runway so that is quite far enough. Also you can bear away down the runway and have around a two kilometre run if you want. The reaches back to get upwind will be longer again. If you want you can sail over to Kurnell on the other side of the bay. Its probably well over five kms there so would be over a ten kilometre round trip.

Its a top spot for flat water windsurfing.

We have a GPS Freerace event there at the end of next week (Saturday 18th Oct). Can't wait to get back there and do some long runs down the runway.

Sue, you should come down - its an easy 2 hr drive from Lake Mac area. Hope to see lots of people there.

...and a nice 16km run across to Kurnell and back. Plenty long enough.
