Anyone know where the wind readings are taken for Kurnell?? Can't believe it has been NEster green arrows there all afternoon and there was hardly a puff of wind after 4pm!! Even the kites were going down! Whats going on with the NE readings there!?
Well it definitely wasn't over 20 knots after 4pm......Probably half that. Have found this before at Kurnell in a NEster. Maybe where it is the wind has a more clear run from the Ocean and not lots of land to go over.
I went out all excited, thinking the wind would build during the afternoon and my 6.6 would get a bit big, and I ended up sinking on my board and having to carry all my gear 400m back up the beach.
