Hi
Went to Kurnell on Monday 20th May, wind was WSW inconsistent and varied from 12knots to 18knots peak.
All though it was patchy still had a great afternoon. The water was clean and not to much of wind chop also the tide was coming in.
Following from another thread asking where to sail in a westerly, hope this shows how Kurnell works and you might be interested to give it a try next time.
Have a look, thanks
Kind Regards
Walt
Nice vid Walt..... Your boom is crap, and you will go much faster with one that is stiffer by better transfer load.
Looks like it is bent as well.
Kurnell is best West or NW. SW gets dodgy near the shore.
Cheers

Its not fair to blame the boom for the slow speeds might be the bloke hanging from it that's the problem, but I know what you mean if the boom was stiff it would drive with more positive response from the sail and no delayed spring feel from the boom.
