Was a great day thanks to Stormriders for running the day. First time I have sailed there and it was pretty good, also a BIG thanks to Mari again for taking photos
I know you were trying to get a good shot of me but I was stuffed lolololololol
Top day,
4 races in a nice NE breeze.
Thanks for the organisers very well run.
Congrats Brett on fire today mate.
Great to see Sam Parker again so much talent with lack of sailing.
see you in a few weeks at Myall lakes.
Yeah well done Byron, sailing super quick man. Thanks all who attended. I think a record for a NSW Series heat with some 27 Raceboards & 17 Formula guys in attendance, but a great day had by all. Many thanks to Craig Ferris from Sailing Australia and Andrew McLachlan from GRSC for the racing.
We also had 6 kids out on the course learning how to race with thanks to GRSC, Max Wojcik, Anna & Arkim Halank from Santuary Point for looking after those guys.
Results posted over the coming days.
Keep any eye out on Mari Barrios's Facebook & the NSW Tour page for some pics. I'll compline and upload all his photos to the Stormriders site over the next wk or so also.

Here are a couple of phone pics to show how glorious it was
52 racers rocked up for a near perfect days racing. So good to see such healthy fleets and especially a kids fleet if BICs. 11 yr old Elli Halank even won one of the kids races. Impressive!
Results now revised/updated & listed on the Windsurfing NSW site. Provisional Series will be updated later in the wk.

Well done to Brett Morris, with Byron McIlveen hot on his heals. Well done also to Ian Wright & Steve Lydard from Marmong for battling it out in the Free Formula devision. Looking Forward to seeing all you guys up there on Lake Macquarie on the 26th of November.

Hey Adam, how is it that the guys in FF from round 1 got (9) DNC but the ones who missed round 2 got (5) DNC. I just don't know how the scoring system works and am a bit curious. Maybe you can explain up at Myall Lakes on the weekend, cheers.
Hi Tinlyds,
Thank you for pointing this out. DNC has been calculated incorrectly on Series scoring and will be updated soon. And yes we can chat at length this wk end about the finer points of sailing race scoring; always an inclusive and engaging dinner party conversation!
