Sailed in Gerroa yesterday and today.....not everyone can get what they want

.....The wind is coming, I can feel it....or maybe that's just the after sail beers I've had

We went for a walk along Narrabeen Beach down to Collaroy and back this arvo. Hardly a breath of wind. However there were many bluebottles washed up on the beach indicating there has been some onshore winds.

Yeah me too am dying for a decent sail.

I headed out on Sunday morning as i was desperate.

was about 11-15 knots at Kyeemagh which was fine by me as i'm such a beginner.

The wind shifted from being SSE to being an onshore E so i packed up and went home around 2pm.

can't wait to head out with some of you as it gets closer to christmas

I'm starting to feel the same way about wind on Lake Macquarie..
I hope there is will be some wind for the demo day this Sat as i have a friend who wants to try a shortboard for the first time.. looking a bit dodgy at this stage although early times yet.

Wish I was at Botany right now!!

Looks like a good day for a cruise on a medium sized board and a 7.x.

Going to Coal Pt today but 10-15kts isn't really enough for me to really get going..Oh well its all practise. If I had the $ ( & a bigger car) I'd buy a lightwind board with a 7-8m rig..

Looks like NE forecast for the weekend, Sunday looking hopeful.

I think the NSW / Sydney team neeed to do a collective chant to the wind gods.

I'de really like to try some of the smaller gear at the Windsurfn Snow demo on Sunday - all fingers and toes crossed!

Actually brilliant sail 6.6m + 125 board - could have used the 95 + 5.8 m..paying for it today.. It was windier than it looked the best NE yet. Yes I'm going to the Lake Macquarie demo with a few friends but not looking promising for the little gear.
