Bright and sunny morning. Ocean mist has gone and the first puffs of what could be a sailable Nor'Easter are visible on the water. There is still a bit of swell hanging around from the crazy conditions over the last week. It's about head high at the point and in the 4 foot range at the main break.
The conditions are setup for the Gerroa wind machine to do it's trick. Although looking at the gradients it could actually end up being windier in Sydney and further North. That said we did have a surprise 10 to 12 knt Nor'Easter on Wednesday. So who knows...
Looking at the long range we might get a good Nor'Easter on Sunday afternoon albeit with quite a bit less swell then today. Then looking towards the end of next week there appear to be a few larger system hanging around that might make it's way up the coast. This could potentially provide for some fun Southerly sailing and hopefully good conditions for those folks making their way up to Woolgoolga for the next NSWWA comp.

The guys out where at Gerroa... actually was some of the Sydney crew that had drive down. I got there a bit to late and it was waaaaay to light. Plus the surf had already claimed a couple of sails... I took a couple of quick shots before the last person came off the water.
