Phu... finally got a minute for a post and some pix. Although there isn't much to report as far as the swell is concerned. It progressively got smaller and smaller over last few days to the point where we now have almost lake like conditions. Looking at the tide charts I don't expect this to change much. At least it's not raining and the air temperature is quite comfortable.
All that said, the wind is supposed to get up to 30 knts and I would say it's already that further out. With that in mind I'm guessing Shoalhaven Heads or one of the beaches north of Wollongong might have a bit of wind swell.
I probably wouldn't bother with a drive down from Sydney. Looks like it will be windy there as well.

Looks massive ^_^
If it's cranking Werri is pretty good up the north end of the beach, NE/E swell gets in there nicely. Wind shadow from that cliff becomes an issue if you go too far north but when it's super windy it's sweet.
Apologies for the missing photos... just realised that Flickr changes the photo id once you republish pics and this site doesn't let you update post that are more than 4 hours old...
... so stay tuned external site with twitter feed, web cam and reports coming shortly...
