That's it. We now have proof that the further in advance you start talking about what the wind is going to do the higher the chances it will actually do the opposite.
Wind is currently 2.7 knts from the Nor'East but it's supposed to get up to about 15 knts. Humidity is a sweet 98%, read it's pouring. Waves are in the 2 foot range. In other words stay home and collect some browny points with your significant other for another day. Because at this stage it can only get better.
Have fun watching one of the many Grand Finals that are on tonight, if that's your sort of thing.
Not that you really need a reminder of how sad things are but I have taken a couple of photos:
15 - 20 nor east pretty much all day at Birubi/Nelson Bay.
Looks like the same again for today but a tad stronger.
Great conditions for the formula guys across at Hawks Nest and I have it on good authority a little wave sailing place up this way with a Japanese name was doing its thing yesterday ![]()
Bit of rain about but its not stopping the wind at this stage
Its been windy at Nobbys if you time it right the last few days, nothing special but 5.0 wind on friday and overpowered on 5.3 in the rain squalls 2day.
