Hi folks. Not much to see this morning. The ocean is as flat as a table top. Amazingly there are still about 10 hopefuls sitting in the ocean waiting for some waves. They might be in for a long wait. Looking at the forecast we won't be seeing any meaningful bumps until at least the weekend.
The wind is a different story. We should a sailable Nor'Easter for the next 5 days. The biggest problem could be thunderstorm activity which as per usual would put a really quick end to the seabreeze. Monday was a testament to that when the wind went from a nice 25 knts to nothing within a matter minutes.
Might to have to give those spots North of Gerroa a go. Perhaps they will have a bit more of that Nor'Easter swell coming in.
Update (9:40am): Nor'Easter has started to to kick in already. It's about 5 knts at the moment... should be 20 or so by lunch time. However, there is already a thunderstorm building out in Kangaroo Valley. I am guessing that will shut things down by early afternoon.
