Yup... that's right. It's even flatter today than it was yesterday (if that's even possible). Yesterday, I sailed down at the Heads were the Nor'Easter swell mixed with a wind swell into what was an onshore bouncing session. Wind was strong enough for a 4.7 though.
Looks like today will be the same again in the wind department. There seems to be quite a bit of Nor'Easter swell rolling past. I am guessing combined with the wind the spots further North around the Gong and Wanda are the pick for today. If I ever find that elusive secret spot I might get excited about days like today... but then again if I'd find out I wouldn't tell.
hey Tom
thanks for posting all these updates in an unbiased way - much appreciated bud. It is going a long way to maximising the time and quality of our wavesailing opportunities

A few out at Wanda yesterday with some OK waves, 1-2 foot although the higher afternoon tide slowed them a bit. I was a bit late but at least better than Northern Beaches 10 knots.
Newcastle area looks like the place to be this week. It's hard to predict the NE strength with this warm weather though.
