Gerroa is the location for the next huge event of the NSW Wavesailing calendar 1/2nd November. Don't miss this one!!
This event is running along side the Sydney Surf SUP series and the stormriders GPS challenge! This means it's going to be windsurfers galore at Gerroa and in particular the Fisho's Saturday night.
Demo SUPS from a number of companies will be available so there will be something for everyone.

Wayne, we'll do our best to coordinate the two disciplines, but there will probably be some overlap.
James, thanks for all the work you did on first GPS Freerace event. Whats the plan if this big Southerly that is predicted comes in for the GPS Freerace. It is not going to be easy getting out with fragile slalom gear.

And Conan, spoke with George(Whyner) about this very issue earlier today and will discuss with Marmong to see if we can stagger the events(at least on the Saturday) so sailors can go in both if they'd like
In regards to sailing in both categories, it won't be a problem. The wavesailing format is expression session so there are no formal heats except a final super session for the finalists (conditions pending). You can wavesail whenever your not in your GPS heat.
Current forecast looks like the super session is more probable to occur on the Sunday.
Will post more details regarding the backup locations for the southerly tomorrow once the forecast is more definite.
