Hi folks,
Lack of sleep due to long work hours finally caught up with me and I missed the alarm this morning... just woke from the dead. For those that were hoping for a forecast don't fret. It's flat as a lake. There are a few little knee slappers around but nothing worth getting excited over (especially after the great days the last two weekends).
So at the momment wind is coming from ever where and nowhere. Waves are about knee high and I don't think this will change much. As I said, wind doesn't show much sign of any direction. I think we might still see a bit of a seabreeze but nothing major.
My advice is spend some time with the family this weekend and save up some browny points for the next big Southerly. I somehow have a feeling we will see plenty of those this winter.
Pix coming shortly.
NE started at 4pm at Kyeemagh, though it never went over 15-20.
I was able to reach planning when pumping on the gust at 2:30pm. Probably the last session wearing a short, as you said, nice weather it was.
yeah... wasn't much better down here. I got on the plane with a 5.8 a few times mid afternoon. Waves ended up so so... I got a couple of waist high slappers. Nice and warm though.
I drove up to Kiama around 4:30pm and it looked like there was quite a bit of wind further North. I am guessing the Gong would have been windy. Probably not a lot more in the wave department though.
