Just booked a long weekend at Gerroa at the start of November. Flying to Syd with gear, so can only take one wetsuit.

Full length 3/2 or long arm/short leg springy?

Good on you, sounds awesome - I was there last week, pity the wind wasn't.

Typically the NSW water temp is 2 months behind the air temp, so the November water temp is usually cold. November we can see air temps of 20-25 (sometime higher, and occasionally lower 17-18). The water temp, however, can be the coldest all year in Nov, Dec, Jan... you're probably looking at water temps of between 18-21 and as low as 17 in a NE'er. If it blows NE for 2 days or more then the water temp will be freezing. If it's Southerly then we can get nice warm water of up to 22 or more. Me personally, in the middle of winter I'm happy in a 3/2 steamer and often even wear a 2mm springy windsurfing when there's a Southerly in August. However, there's no way I'd wear a springy in winter if I'm surfing and sitting around in the water waiting for a set. Windsurfing is different though. If you get cold easily (and don't have a layer of fat like me) then a 3/2 will be a good idea, otherwise a 2mm springy will be fine. I usually wear a springy or boardies and a wettie top in November. So given you're a Mexican, I'd think a springy would be fine.

As a fellow vicco, we spent 5 days there cup weekend last year, with the variance in weather we got I did 2 days in boardies with thermal rashie, 2 days in 2mm springy with long arms, and one day in 2mm long legs short arms.

We're hoping to get up for a long cup weekend this year too.
