Just had confirmation from the official photographer for the day....Always a bonus to get some sweet shots....
This could be a epic one for the spectators.
High tide is at 11:52am 1.81 high going out till 6:31pm 0.28m. (fort Denison) So quite a large tidal change against the fairly strong wind predicted. this can make for hood river like bump and jump conditions and as I understand the racing will be in the river. So you can get close to the action on the beach or relax in the clubs air conditioning and let the carnage on the water entertain you ![]()

As forecast go, they don't get much better than tomorrow's for some 'straight up' drag racing. See you there, can't wait!
Wow, what a days racing.... 4 racers, starting in mid-size sails and ending with nothing but the smallest equipment.
Great to see some old and new faces.....Thanks to the race crew for making it such a seamless days racing.
Looking forward to see the photos....
PS, Loved sailing in the rough water at the top mark...Something new and exciting for Formula....Cheers
Yes as Brett mentions, great days racing yesterday with those 4 races run in a building 15-20 NEster and a run out tide through the afternoon. Conditions made for some challenging, tactical and thrilling racing. Big thanks to Andrew McLaughlin, commodore at GRSC, for running the show and special thanks to Mari Barrios (check out his Facebook Page)for helping out and also providing the great photography. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1511018630&fref=ts
