Well it doesn't look like it'll be a boring weekend at least.
20-30 knot formula racing should be a blast.
Certainly looks like we will have some wind for Heat 1.
Reminder to join any Windsurfing NSW club + pay in advance for the series.
Unfortunately the www.tour.windsurfingnsw.com site is down, but
you can join the series via www.storm-riders.com.au (memberships).
I'm heading up on Tuesday for some not so secret practice if anyone is inspired to come early? ![]()
I'd get in some slalom practice as I reckon the NSW Wavesailing guys (and gals) will clean up at the first slalom event ![]()
Had to work up there today sure was a good seabreeze also the local radio has been reporting great white sightings from catho to jimmys beach over the last couple of weeks
haha sam, those kids keeping you awake at night :)
Beautiful noreaster up here today, got blown off the formula gear and "forced" to sail slalom and 7.5 instead :)
Looking forward to seeing everyone on the weekend.
Don't worry guys, you didn't miss out on too much on Wednesday. The NE'er didn't happen at all due to a showery front from the west.
But it was nice flat water for a SUP. ![]()
Still at work again, another 13 hour day arrrghh. The only thing that helps me pass the time away, is known I'll be back at Echo Beach somedayyyyyyy.
Friday 1230pm report

As it pans round to the heads there's whitecaps a plenty to be seen
A Sunday that no one will forget anytime soon. With torrential rain and 30knot squalls every 20mins, it would have been easy to cancel the day and retire to the golf club to watch the Rugby / League.
Still thanks to some truely dedicated race officials we were on the water for 3 excellent races in some really entertaining conditions.
Congrats to Sam Parker in the open Barry Fawkes in the "Free Formula", who were the most consistent in the challenging conditions.
A special thanks to the Race Officier of the day (Glenn Rumford) who really came through and ran a truely excellent days racing in horrendous conditions.
Heat 2 will be in a couple of weeks at Huskisson, Jervis Bay.

Brett Morris borrowing Ricks account for this post...Cheers.
