if any one needs sail numbers i'm collecting a set from Chris Ting's contact Hybrid Signs in Brookvale tomorrow - ph: 9905 1723, ask for Matt. If you get your orders in, paid for & ready before Friday I can bring them up for the weekend.

Are numbers required for all divisions (FE+)
If so...
Can KA numbers be used in the FE+ division ?

Apologies if this has been asked/posted before

WW - Sail numbers are required in all divisions, but I would be pretty sure the event organiser will accept KA numbers if that is what you have.

The concern is accurate identification of all competitors at the start and finish lines,

I shall get the organiser to take a look at your query,

If it's just for identification purposes I reckon I might not need any numbers at all... the staccato sailing technique I seemed to have adopted on the race gear will surely set me apart from most, if not all others

Kev

PS - site report/current conditions at Hawks Nest = 11 to 3 knot southerly, grey drizzle filled skies.
On the positive side... water temp is a balmy 22 degrees C

Just ordered numbers...very efficient and affordable. I double checked that they are the correct font, size etc...All good and ready the next day.....Nice....
No excuses come race day for cr*p sail numbers any more.

WW, at this late stage I have no problems with KA sail numbers for the event. Moving forward we're really keen to get everyone on proper registered AUS numbers, but realise a few days out from the event is a bit optimistic.

You will need legible numbers though! It's amazing how hard it is to score 50 boards crossing the line if the numbers aren't clear. If they aren't, you might see a few DNF's on the scorecard if the guys can't read them.

See you there ;)

Sean (organiser).
