Hi guys,
my first message to know if someone will go on the water tomorrow 17/07 on botany Bay?

I have more fun sailing with other people.

A bit about me : French man working in Sydney on a project annoying all of you in Kurnell
I'm back to windsurf after a 10 years stop

hope it comes through, it would be nice to hit the speed strip on something bit faster than the formula board...

I called down this morning to see the three hard men of windsuring standing looking forlornly out over the beautiful waters of Sandringham.
In fact I beleive I saw a tear well up in SeanO's eye (might have been a bug though)

There was nothing, nada, zilch (actually not true, there was about 5 kts but you know what I mean)

Hopefully it picked up so they could get on the water at all,

I checked the gps team challenge website this arvo with the hope of seeing Seano and the guys posting some nice speeds.

Hope the wind eventually picked up for them.

the wind did pick up a bit, but it wasnt the 20knots+ ssw forecast. It did that 5 minutes after i left, luckily i could still see the water..
More like 10-15knots SW with the occasional 20knot gust coming through.
Underpowered most of the time & couldn't get to the well exposed speed strip. There was a kiter up there practicing kite flying.... will have to bring some scissors along next time.

was on a 5.0 at wanda in the waves from 2 till 4:30, suprised people didn't get a sail in, gusty at times but enough for a sail.... nice backside sailing with the tsunami tide and the bomber bank that formed up last few days....

after you guys left there was more than enough pressure, there was 20-25 at times. it made it interesting trying to learn the new gear. good to see so many guys come down though

I was there with my 6.2 between Brighton and dolls point.
20knots with gust... It was fun but a bit "bumpy"

I finally found my way back to footstraps
I just had a problem with my extension full of sand and the blocking system left open which resulted in a flying sail each time i jumped

Solved with a knife and a lot of water.
