Hi Guys,
My name is Paul from Maroubra and I have recently bought a Phantom 4 drone and am starting to compile footage mainly around Gerroa and maybe some Sydney stuff to hopefully make a video towards the end of the summer. If you sail at Gerroa and see a drone hovering around I hope you don't mind! I also sail so hopefully will get out there too.
This is just a hobby project but I'll be stoked to try and get you on film so we have a good memory for the future!
If any of you on here have a problem with this plan please let me know because I don't want to create any problems. Also if you are sailing and see the drone filming, give a wave or throw a double... I want good footage!

looks great! fun stuff - was quite interesting to be sailing along with the drone up there

Is the sail you used on Sunday pink or the yellow/green one? Struggling to find your sail...but there seems to be a pink NP Fly maybe?

I think I found it...There seems to be 2 sailors with the same sail.... this video I think you're the one on the left at the start right?

I think this form of video is great, gives a fantastic perspective of being out on the water. Thank you for taking the time for getting some footage, hope you get sailing in and one of us can drive the drone to video you

Great, happy you like it. I'm enjoying the filming as much as the sailing at the moment because I know people get stoked getting themselves filmed sailing. That's the only problem....is working out how to sail and film in the same day!

I may come down and do some spectacular stacks for you, just so you can have some balance and thrills in the video.
