20 knot + North Easters forecast for the next 7 days. Start of 2009 may have to go into the record books. I haven't even looked at my big board for weeks

What's happened to all those whinging Sydneysiders? "We don't get noreasters like we used to in the good old days". " No wind in Sydney, you're mad if you don't shift to WA" Suddenly gone quiet.

Unfortunately no mystery swell, Wanda on Saturday was pretty flat.

well, you should taken the drive down to Shoalhaven Heads... not really a swell but at least a bigger bumps that were actually breaking.

I drove down on Saturday and sailed at the heads but to be honest every time I sail there I swear i'm never sailing there again. The angle, rip, and shore dump **** me to tears but as you say at least there was something to jump off. I only sail there now if it's super windy, which it was Sat, otherwise the place can give you fits of rage. Wind didn't cooperate here in the Gong so had to go somewhere.
