Anyone sailed the northern end of Dudley Beach out of Newcastle ?
Interested to hear what winds, if any it works in ?

Catho ?

Caves ?

Moonee ?

How do the above compare to Nobbys ?

Hi Windwarrior
I have sailed Mooney in a southerly, nice right hander into the corner! Can be a little gusty for the way out.
Northern end of Catho is not bad in a nor-easter.
Blacksmiths in a southerly.
Swansea channel mouth for back side wave riding and jumps in a nor-easter with a out going tide!
I have not sailed at Nobbys so I cannot compare, sorry.

it would be a long walk from the south end to the north
as that's where the car park is unless you can get yourself up wind
ive never surfed Dudley always seems to close out to much
it would be a bit iffy on the inside behind the head land
red head would be way better. but not much in newy compares to nobbys
in a nor easter ive heard of guys sailing mooney area in a noreaster as well
