Hi I've sailed a couple of Sydney's South spots such as Wanda and Kurnell, both seem to have a nice crowd of around 20 saliors out on a good day (F4+). Do many sail Dee Why or Long reef?? TIA

Longy usually gets a bit of a crowd in a Southerly. Nor'Easters tend to be a bit gusty and on the light side. Plenty of kite boarders out though.

Long reef is good in strong SE where it will be cross on but good jumping out the back - always rig 1/2 size bigger than you think because it will look windier that it really is. Unfortunately for NE the planets not longer align and its not common for Longy to work anymore. It can be 15-18 knots at Kurnell and only 5-10 north side.

Good luck
