Hey Corkers
Not too much windy flatwater around here, small rivers and coastal sailing is it.

Unless its nuking, too gusty and not as windy if sailing Bellinger River

Best try ocean off Coffs Creek in a NE, in summer swell is normally only 1-2ft anyways

The harbour offers more wave protection (obviously) but not too sure in a NE, a few trees and buildings/jetty make for gusty times

For real flatwater - 30mins south Nambucca River (wind dir. depends on what the sandbanks are now doing after all the recent floods) can be good flatwater, and 1.5hr north Yamba river (NE)

I can vouch for yamba river, just of whiting beach . rig up where it says no sail boarding and then head out. Had a great time blasting up and down in flat water, get a few ramps making it through for some little jumps, clear water etc and Yamba is a awesome place i love it.
