Sshhh looking good for tomorrow, don't want to spoil it. But just in case, given SSW, where would be best, North or South?

Haven't sailed lake Illawarra as yet.

I think Canton would have been better but it was not that windy today. I don't believe Seabreeze arrows anymore. I didn't go windsurfing today because I thought there was no way it would get much over 20 knots based on the synoptic chart plus it was cold & I couldn't be bothered to sail in cold weather unless its windy.

sailed at Canton yesterday. other guys were on 7+ and 105ltrs and doing ok. I got out there for around 1/2 hours and then the rain took the wind away. A real downer. I get advice from the seabreeze arrows, but wouldn't bet my life on them. There was bugger all wind at canton whereas the graph was looking good all day. The trees are moving slightly at present, but not enough for me to get out there.
Has anybody noticed the arrows for next sunday yet? Hope they're right!

Illawarra was ok for a while, no rain and the sun came out for a bit, had my new go pro to play with

About 15 or so out at Kyeemagh yesterday.
Was pretty nice for a winter sail from 12-3pm when I was there.

Hey dezza that's great go pro footage. Looks like you got a few good runs in. I found it a bit frustrating as the wind looked better than it actually was. Maybe further out where you were was better I have to stay in the shadows to keep an eye on my son who's still learning. Must introduce myself next time I see you there.

I didn't sail yesterday but gustbuster Gav sailed sanctuary point and got blown off the water on his new naish 101sp and a 6.7 sail, changed to a 5.7 and still got hammered on his free ride,

Damn I should've headed south to sanctuary point, sounds like it was more windy there. there was heaps of wind out from Kiama as I drove home, for some reason it didn't get into the lake

I have the booties and beanie at the ready...got away with the 3/2 suit as it was warmish yesterday, hope the warmer suit turns up this week

Could have had a nice sail at Canton early with the big gear but hung around waiting for the 20-25kts the internet showed coming up from Sydney.. Durr.. Then it rained and died as I got out. Usually rig for the conditions and get out there - will go back to that system..
At least a few guys had a good sail..rotten old Pete..
