Anyone planning on sailing lake mac tomorrow? Whereabouts? I was thinking Marmong point would be good?
Be good to meet some people who sail around here regularly

cool thanks! Canton is about 35 mins drive, Is it good? worth the drive? is it a sandy beach? i might look for some youtube vids to check it out

Marmong is ok, its just on the opposite tack to what we usaly sail. marmong is starboard off the beach in a southerly & most spots are port tack leave the beach like valentine, good pratice sailing on the other tack.
Canton is far from sandy beach .. Weedy sespit more like ... But it's stay really flat. Weed fins a must I'll be heading for for 11:30 hopefully get on speed board
i dont have a weed fin so ill be stayin up here in lake mac. hope its a good one!

Canton was great!
A bit overpowered with the 5.8m so I didn't venture into the chop much except for a few hops..
A lot of short runs as a result - good for gybe practise but tiring..
c 2hrs sailing..happy

I'm going to the guy cribb course at Jervis Bay at the end of Jan and I've been watching the graphs and we're getting more wind up here! I hope the pattern changes so there is wind for the clinic!
