Looks like great fun. Just how big does the chop get out there? I've been toying with the idea of blasting across to Kurnell from Kyeemagh on a NE'r and having the missus collect me from the other side. Is it a dodgy trip to do alone?

Cheers

No need to be picked up on the other side. Its not a difficult sail across and back. It will be a tight reach or two to get back to your launch point if you launch from the new car park beach. The main issues are that it does get windier as you sail across the bay and the swell can be fairly large. I think its fairly safe as there are usually a lot of recreational boats out in the middle of the bay. Howev er if worst came to worst at least a NE seabreeze will eventually blow you to one shore or another in Botany Bay.

Might have to give it a go next time. I'll just rig one size smaller to be sure I'm not overpowered at Kurnell. Will you be heading down to Kyeemagh tomorrow if there's a breeze, Karl?

Ha, sweet he came out, its been redonkulously obvious for years......

We would love to attend a race circuit around Botany, it has to be separate from NSW racing, if it is, we will come
